BRAZILIAN CONTEMPORARY
The Victoria and Albert Museum, in London, is bringing together practitioners, writers, academics and curators working in Brazil and the UK in the fields of art, design and architecture for a round table discussion. The invited speakers will detail, dissect and subvert the notion of a Brazilian vernacular through discussions on early and contemporary modernisms in relation to design, and the decentralisation of the Brazilian arts locus.
ESPAÇO EM MOVIMENTO
O Labmovel inicia sua jornada de 2014! Entre fevereiro e maio, quatro oficinas serão ministradas por várias cidades do Estado de São Paulo: Campinas, Santos, Ubatuba e Sao Paulo. A primeira oficina é Fotografia Encenada com os artistas Mario Ramiro e Bruno Schultze. Acontece nos dias 15 e 16 de fevereiro no Ponto de Cultura Maluco Beleza em Campinas. Através de uma cena montada para a fotografia, os participantes devem encontrar uma forma de expressar alguma questão ou problema, ou ainda um comentário sobre algo do seu entorno, de sua vivência, de sua visão de mundo. Mario Ramiro conduz assim o retrato de uma ação, em um projeto conjunto entre o Labmovel e o Atelie Aberto.

LABMOVEL
Labmovel leva ao centro de São Paulo o projeto de realidade aumentada Narrative Navigation. Trata-se de um projeto colaborativo de Sander Veenhof e Pixel, no qual podemos criar narrativas sobre pontos da cidade com o uso de um celular, misturando dados históricos e ficção. O evento ocorreu na Praça Dom José Gaspar, atrás da Biblioteca Mário de Andrade no último domingo (15).
2012 ZERO1 Biennial
A great pleasure to work with Jaime Austin, Dooeun Choi, Michelle Kasprzak and Regina Möller in the collaborative curation of the 
2012 ZERO1 Biennial in San Jose, CA. Besides the main exhibition, the project also included activating underutilized spaces in downtown San Jose’s SoFA District. The ZERO1 Emerging Artist Network was a series of calls for California based emerging artists for projects to be featured in the weekend-long outdoor exhibition during the opening weekend of the ZERO1 Biennial.

TALK TO ME: DESIGN AND THE COMMUNICATION BETWEEN PEOPLE AND OBJECTS
Talk to Me explores the communication between people and things. All objects contain information that goes well beyond their immediate use or appearance. In some cases, objects like cell phones and computers exist to provide us with access to complex systems and networks, behaving as gateways and interpreters. Whether openly and actively, or in subtle, subliminal ways, things talk to us, and designers help us develop and improvise the dialogue.
